About Us

CULTURE EDIT is part of the Edit Empire network: independent, expert-run sites, each devoted to one subject and written by a dedicated editorial team.

CULTURE EDIT covers BOOKS, ART & DESIGN, STAGE, INTERNET CULTURE, ESSAYS every day — fast, factual and clearly sourced. Every story names its sources, every image carries its credit, and corrections are published openly.

How we work

Our desk follows a published set of editorial laws: facts are confirmed by at least two independent sources before a story runs, opinion is labelled as opinion, and reader comments and tips shape what we cover next.
